The contrast between the heavens, the element of the Water-Carrier, and the mountains, the element of the Goat, is sharply marked here.  The illustration is Tibetan style, slightly fantastic.  The lamas assure us there are fabulous snow lions in Tibet which can be seen leaping from peak to peak, by those with eyes to see.

The predominant element of the god-planet Saturn for us is the earthy spirit of the Goat, because Earth is also ruled by the character of the Goat and her tiny size is dominated by mighty Saturn.  This mixed blessing also bestows the rich glory of our earthly cornucopia, heaven’s bounty.
